I am proudly announcing the release of DAGitty version 2.0, which has been vastly rewritten and improved under the hood. Some highlights are:

• Much faster graphics, especially for large diagrams
• Support for multiple exposures and/or outcomes
• Export your graph in publication quality in PDF, JPEG or PNG format

Bugfix in v1.1 and development version: Bias caused by adjustment for descendant of exposure was not displayed correctly.

2011-11-29

Version 1.1 released.

2011-10-12

The development version now has experimental support for identifying direct effects via adjustment and for outputting testable implications of the model. Beta-testers are very welcome.

As a side node, I have moved to Utrecht University.

DAGitty version 1.0 has been released.

Another update to the development version; this is the release candidate for version 1.0. Most important changes:

• Support for latent (unobserved) variables
• Optional highlighting of causal and biasing paths
• Much faster identification of adjustment sets for large models
• Adjustment and observed status are now saved in the model text data

Some bugs fixed in the development version. We are getting closer to the release of 1.0!

• I have updated the development version. It contains many small "under-the-hood" improvements, which should make dagitty faster if you're working with bigger models. Please test and send feedback if you experience any problems.
• I created a mailing list for those who wish to be notified about updates, and discuss with other users.
